What is Asphalt 8: Airborne?

Asphalt 8: Airborne is a driving and racing game that features real high-performance cars and bikes. Players race their vehicles in a variety of settings, like the Nevada Desert and streets of Tokyo.

Ashpalt 8 uses real cars and bikes in the game. Players will see top manufacturers and over 180 real models from brands like Lamborghini, Bugatti, and Ferrari. The vehicles can also be customized with decals to make the cars your own. Some of the cars are readily available, others can be bought with the game's currency or through in-app purchases.

Players are encouraged to hit ramps and take the race beyond the road. In Asphalt 8, players are not limited by physics and can make a lot of cool tricks, like barrel rolls and 360° jumps that help players pass their opponents.

The game has over 40 tracks in 16 different settings, so players won't get bored while they try to master each track. There are shortcuts to discover on each track, so as players become familiar with the track, they can more easily beat their opponents.

Asphalt 8: Airborne can be played in single player mode or in multiplayer mode with up to 8 real players from all over the world.

Is Asphalt 8: Airborne safe for my kids?

Asphalt 8: Airborne is safe for kids, but features some mild cartoon violence when vehicles crash. This game is rated for users 12 and older, but the damage from a crash is realistic and may not be appropriate for some families.

This game will probably appeal to kids that are interested in fancy cars and racing. Players can make the cars and bikes feel like their own because they have the ability to customize their cars. Not all cars are available to players, some can only be accessed through in-app purchases and game currency. Parents may want to consider blocking in-app purchases to avoid accidental or unwanted charges.

Asphalt 8 has a multiplayer mode, but it is safe for kids because there is no in-app communication. Kids cannot be contacted by other players through this app. Players have the option to connect the game to Facebook, but are not required to.

This app also featured ad throughout the game, which may become annoying to players. Players can also choose to watch advertisement videos to gain in-app currency, which can be used for upgrades and power-ups.
