What is CSR Classics?

CSR Classics is an exciting gaming app that allows users to transform broken down cars into luxurious hot rods and then race them to win challenges and tasks.

It is available for free download in the Google Play Store and the App Store. This app does offer in-app purchases to access certain special features and advertisements. CSR Classics is rated for everyone.

Once the app is downloaded and you begin the game, you will be prompted to select a specific type of car to transform, with several of the options being classic models from companies like Ford, Mercedes, Dodge, and Pontiac.

Then, you will be able to start making alterations to the vehicle, such as changing the color and adding certain upgrades, like fancy wheels, hydraulics, and stereo systems.

As soon as you have finished designing your car, you can begin competing in challenges, including races against members of a gang that is wreaking havoc in the app’s fictional city.

When you win these competitions, you will earn gold that allows you to purchase extra features for your car and move up to additional levels that progressively become more challenging.

In order to use the app for free, you must periodically watch advertisements from similar games. Once the ad is done, you may simply click the “x” located in the top left corner and continue playing.

If you would like to purchase extra gold or remove ads from the app, you can make an in-app purchase. In-app purchases start at $0.99 and range all the way to $99.99.

While the app generally receives good reviews, some users have complained that the game does not always save their progress.

Is CSR Classics safe for my kids?

Due to the app’s mature themes, CSR Classics is best for ages 12 and up. There is currently no age verification for playing the game.

While the app does not contain overtly inappropriate themes, it does touch on the concepts of gangs and drag racing.

The violence that accompanies gangs, as well as the negligent driving involved in drag racing are topics that many parents might not feel comfortable with their child having access to.

If you do decide that you are okay with your child playing CSR Classics, make sure to have a discussion with them regarding the seriousness of gang violence and the difference between driving habits in real life and video games.

Because the app does contain the option of in-app purchases, it is important to discuss spending limits with your child. If you do not want your child to be able to purchase items, simply disable in-app purchases in the phone’s settings.

As with any video game, it is important to monitor how much time your child spends using the app in order to prevent a tech-addiction.

If your child is younger, set limits regarding how much play-time they have per day. If your child is a mature teen, talk with them about how dangerous tech addictions can be.
