Numbie: First Grade Math is an educational math game designed to teach young children basic math.

It helps children learn typical first grade math skills, such as geometry, number sequences and patterns, and basic arithmetic. Numbie makes learning fun with cute characters, fun graphics and interactive puzzles. There are over 1,200 activities to challenge kids, along with 10 chapters full of cute characters and charming visuals.
In total, there are 120 levels encompassing various math challenges. The math puzzles are based on the Common Core academic curriculum used in schools. The app keeps track of kids’ progress with a chart of statistics that parents can use to the learning process.
Users will need to purchases a subscription to use the app and can choose from a $4.99, monthly subscription or purchase one year for $49.99.
Numbie is similar to Math Kids and the Learn Math app. The app only has a 2.5-star rating, with the primary complaint being that a paid subscription is needed to unlock all of the levels. Overall, it seems that Numbie has good intentions, but the fact that parents need to pay for almost all of the features is a huge negative
Is Numbie: First Grade Math safe for my kids?
The Numbie: First Grade Math app is safe for kids and great place for kids to begin learning about math or to improve on skills they are working on it school.
A feature that many parents find useful is the Parent Dashboard, which lets you see how well your child is doing with the math problems as well as any areas that need improvement.
There are no ads in this app, so kids can just focus on the activities without the interference of third-parties. Unfortunately, parents need to pay for a full subscription in order to get the full experience of the app. The first few games are available for free, but this barely provides adequate gameplay.
The app doesn’t have content filtering or screening, but it doesn’t need it since it’s entirely first grade math problems. The developers for this app have also released Numbie Run for grades 1-3 and Math for Kindergarten and Pre-School Children.
