Homer Learn to Read is an educational phonics app, featuring a variety of early reader books and activities.

The app incorporates stories, phonics lessons, songs, and your children's own recorded voice to build an interactive curriculum for early literacy and academic skill-building. 


Homer Learn to Read offers over 60 “First Reader” books on topics in science, history, and other subjects, and each phonics lesson is followed by digital activities and an opportunity to create audio recordings detailing what they’ve learned. 


There are a number of available activities beyond phonics exploration on the Homer Learn to Read App, for when your kids need a break. They can engage in free drawing, listen to world music, or join sing-a-longs. Homer features a vast array of books for young children to chose from, ranging from poetry to nonfiction. 

Is HOMER Learn & Grow safe for my kids?

Homer Learn to Read is absolutely safe for kids. It was designed to educate kids. The app does not have ads and is very easy for children to navigate. 

Homer Learn to Read is available for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. A subscription costs $7.95 per month after a thirty-day free trial. Up to four children can use the app per installation.

Overall, the app is very kid-friendly and could be a useful tool for supporting early academic skill-building in preschool and elementary students.
