Music lovers will enjoy the Smule app: not only can users sing karaoke-style along with their favorite songs, but they can sing duets or in groups with friends, other singers, and even with celebrities. You can sing acappella or use the audio effects to really spice up your performance. This app also lets you perform live for friends and others.


With this very popular app there are plenty of features that can turn a user’s singing project into a professional production. Studio effects and pitch correction will make vocals sound more polished.


By adding video filters and special effects like smoke, bubbles and fireflies your created music video will be more visually pleasing. You can upload your finished product to Smule’s global platform and also share it via Facebook.


Smule users also use Facebook to find karaoke partners and chat with each other. You can follow other singers to see their recordings.


Once downloaded users can open the app and login via Facebook, Google or with a phone number or email address. You can then add a photo, select a username, and start looking for friends to sing with.


You’re given the option to select up to 4 music genres to personalize your experience and then in a couple of taps you’re ready to belt out your selected song with lyrics provided.


There is an in-app purchase of $7.99 can be made to gain access to a larger catalog of songs and to remove ads.
