What is Rules of Survival?

Rules of Survival is a mobile battle royale gaming app, in which players are pitted against 119 other players.

Players are dropped on a deserted island, handily equipped with weapons caches and other useful items, and must battle other players for survival.

The last player standing is the survivor in Rules of Survival. Rules of Survival is free to download, but offers a range of in-app purchases. This app can be found in both the App Store and the Google Play Store.

Once players download and open the Rules of Survival app, they’re instructed to choose a server to play on, by choosing the one closest to their actual location.

Players then choose which mode they wish to play in, whether it be solo, in a duo with a friend, or squad mode, with multiple [live] players making up a team. Those wishing to play in squad mode can be randomly assigned to a team or build a squad of their own friends within the game.

After choosing a server and play mode, players are then loaded onto a helicopter to head to their deserted island. Using the map, by tapping the tab on the right side of the screen to open, players can choose which area of the island they wish to be dropped.

Once a player lands, they must run to begin scavenging for weapons to fend off other players who are also playing in kill or be killed mode.

All controls can be found on the screen with options to control both the left and right hands separately (as well as the weapons they hold), control the screen view (and the ability to surveil the surroundings 360 degrees), and set to lock in an auto running mode, when traversing long stretches.
