What is Photo 365 - Everyday Photo Calendar for Your Life?

A photo diary and calendar, the Photo 365 app allows users to take and collect photos each day of the year.

This app is only available for iOS devices in the App Store and is rated for users of all ages. The Photo 365 app does feature in-app purchases.

As the name suggests, this is an app for recording the daily events of your life all year round, like a virtual scrapbook. The app opens up to a monthly calendar, and each day slot can be filled with a photo to commemorate what happened. It’s a fun way to look back at your year and appreciate the people, things, and events big and small.

The app syncs automatically with iCloud so users can access their photos and comments in a flash. Photo 365 is geared towards the millennial and Gen Z bunch, but it’s used by people of all ages. People can choose to save one photo from the day or multiples. You can take the photos right from your camera roll or album on your phone and add them to the app.

In-app purchases range in price $0.99 to $1.99 for filters and sticker packs.

The app only has 20 reviews on the App Store, and the average user rating is just 2.3 out of 5 stars. People complain about the limited functionality of the app and that the user interface is counter-intuitive.

Still, Photo 365 was featured as Apple’s App of the Week back in 2011. Similar apps include Gratitude Journal 365 and Everydaying - One Photo A Day.

Is Photo 365 - Everyday Photo Calendar for Your Life safe for my kids?

This app is safe for kids content-wise, but parents should consider discussing appropriate photo taking with their kids. Photo 365 does allow users to share their pictures, so that’s something that parents should be aware of.

The best age for this app is teens and young adults. It hasn’t aged well and in 2019, it’s not a popular app anymore. Another detail that parents should know is that the app syncs easily with social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter so users can share their photos to social networks too.

The photo app offers extra items such as filters, mustache stickers, and doodles for an additional cost. With apps like Snapchat, it almost seems silly to pay for filters.

The app (or something like it) might be fun for aspiring photographers, but if kids are using it, there are better ways to have a virtual photo album or picture calendar. Perhaps try Project Life - Scrapbook for Android or My Everyday Photo - The Movie of Your Life. Again, these types of apps seem superfluous when phones already have a default photo album.
