What is Peppa Pig: Paintbox?

Peppa Pig: Paintbox is a drawing app made specifically for Peppa Pig fans, ages 5 years and younger. The Peppa Pig: Paintbox app is free to download, and does not feature any in-app purchases or advertisements.  This app can be found on both the Google Play Store and iTunes.

Children can choose to draw with either Peppa or George, each with their own sticker options and magical tools. Once children have completed their masterpiece they can choose to save it to the device camera roll or exhibit in Peppa’s school.

Once the application opens children tap either Peppa or George and a blank canvas opens on the screen. The right-hand side of the screen features a toolbox with a variety of options to choose from.

When children select the paintbrush icon a drawer pops open in the toolbox, allowing kids to scroll through the pre-colored paintbrush options. Children simply tap the color they wish to use and begin drawing by dragging their finger across the screen, within the margins of the canvas.

The next toolbox option is a sticker menu where children can choose stickers to decorate their artwork. Next up is the magic tool, which features fun and funny options for children to draw with ranging from mud puddles to musical notes. 

Both the stickers and magic tools differ between George and Peppa so children will want to try drawing with both characters to experiment with all of their options.

A paint bucket allows children to splash pockets of color onto their canvas Jackson Pollock-style.  The icon of the pencil with eraser allows kids to erase their work on the canvas by selecting and dragging their finger across the screen where they wish to delete work. 

The black and white picture icon provides a total of 6 coloring pages and backgrounds to decorate should children not wish to start with a blank canvas.
