When users first open this app they immediately jump into their first game. In this easy level of the game users are tasked with completing the maze and collecting a given number of cheeses. Users are able to control the direction of Mousebot by clicking arrows on either side of the screen.
The main screen features settings and news buttons on the left side, while a play button will take users to the levels available to them on the next screen. Also on these screens is a running count of a user’s cheese collection, tokens, and lives. Lives do run out when a user loses a game but do regenerate in time.
The MouseBot app offers players over 65 challenging and fun levels to play. As users progress they learn more about the storyline and the plans of the nefarious cats.
Cheese and tokens both act as the in-app currency allowing users to upgrade to special powers or to new skins. In-app purchases allow users to go premium (where they never run out of lives), buy more tokens for use, or new skins.
Is MouseBot safe for my kids?
The MouseBot app is safe for older kids. Parents should know that this app is rated for users 9 years of age and older due to some mild cartoon violence. Parents should be able to assess whether or not their children are ready for a game of this nature.
There is no gore involved in this game as MouseBot is a robot. When he gets caught in traps, he explodes into some mechanical pieces. Nothing too violent that parents will need to worry about.
