What is Infltr - Infinite Filters?
Short for Infinite Filters, the Infltr app allows iOS users to apply filters to photos and live videos. Rated for users ages four years of age and older, Infltr offers millions of filters for a download price of $1.99 and does feature additional in-app purchases.
While it debuted in 2015, the Infltr app remained low key as developers worked to refine and build upon a massive catalog of photo filters. Infltr is unique to iPhone users, and its color gradient was developed using Apple’s gaming technology.
To benefit from Infltr’s filter technology, users should be photo enthusiasts or at least budding photo enthusiasts, with a few hours on their hands to play around and experiment.
And what makes Infltr stand apart is its integration with Apple Watch and iMessage, these filters can be used almost everywhere an iOS user’s heart desires.
Like other photo editing apps on the market, the Infltr app allows users to change color, saturation, brightness, temperature, highlights and other essential photo editing features. The filters are what make the Infltr special and sets it apart from other photo editing apps.
The real magic of Infltr is that users can fine-tune their filters with a swipe of their finger. Once a user finds the filter they’d like to apply to their photo, they tap on it and then have the option to continue adjusting the colors of the filter by swiping and dragging their finger across the screen to change specific areas of their photo.
More savvy users can create and save their custom filters by tailoring the brightness, hue, saturation, temperature and other photo editing features to a level of their liking and then save those settings as a filter for later use.
Infltr gives users the ability to connect their Adobe Creative Cloud accounts, yet another feature that sets the app apart in the marketplace. With the Creative Cloud integration, users can save professionally edited photos directly on their iPhone and tweak them even further in the Infltr app, if they so desire.
Is Infltr - Infinite Filters safe for my kids?
The Infltr features a built-in camera which allows users to capture live photos and video through the application. An exciting feature is the ability for users to scroll through filters directly over the screen of the image or video they are planning to capture, without needing to select, apply and start over again like other image editing apps.
What’s fun about the live photo and video filters is that once a user chooses their desired filter, they can further customize it in real time, just like editing pictures from their image gallery.
And while the Infltr app doesn’t offer an infinite number of filters, the millions of filters it does provide, paired with the user’s ability to customize further filters (and create their own), means that it will take a long time for users to get bored with the filters the app offers.
Not bad for a $1.99 purchase price. And, if those millions of options still aren’t enough, the app offers a range of preset filter packages, each for $6.99.
This app is safe for kids.
