What is Followers for Instagram?

Followers for Instagram is an android app that helps users increase their Instagram followers by tracking new followers, unfollowers, and a few engagement metrics.

This app can be found in the Google Play Store and features in-app purchases.

Using features of the app costs “coins”, an in-app currency. To get followers, users must first accumulate coins that can be used to purchase additional followers.

Coins are gained by either spinning a wheel (known in-app as “the willow”), rating the app (must give five stars), completing ad offers or watching ad videos (of which only a certain number are available per day).

Spinning the willow aside, each task typically generates 3 coins. The catch with spinning the willow is that it typically tends to land on the number zero, which wipes out any accumulation of coins.

Is Followers for Instagram safe for my kids?

While the app is safe for teens, it frankly isn't worth the download.

Followers for Instagram appears to have a solid rating in the Google Play store (4.7), but closer examination of the reviews reveals that this is only because users are issued three in-app coins in exchange for leaving a five-star rating.

It is unclear how this app is supposed to help users gain followers and seems to mostly exist for advertising videos. After recent Android updates, many users report the app no longer works at all.

The Followers for Instagram app is only available for Android devices.
