What is Epic - Kids' Books & Reading?

Epic! Unlimited Books for Kids is an app that gives children unlimited access to a massive, curated library of over 25,000 books, audiobooks, and videos drawn from major publishers and well-known children's authors.

Epic! Unlimited Books for Kids is available for download in the App Store and the Google Play Store. It is rated for users 10 years of age and older and offers in-app purchases.

The collection includes 500 Spanish/English bilingual books. Epic!'s library also features hundreds of educational videos from National Geographic Kids and Flocabulary. Books can be searched for by subject, genre, and age, and some titles offer audio or read-to-me versions.

Kids can set up their own preferences for content recommendations, and Epic! will help them find books by age, ability, interest. Kids can also browse freely, taking virtual books off the shelf and viewing a curated synopsis of each before deciding if they'd like to read further. Children can earn badges, tag their favorite books, and track what they've read over time on a personal statistics page. 

There are two versions of the Epic! Mobile app:  Epic! for the Home and Epic! for Educators.The Home version offers access to the library, customized profiles, and individually tailored recommendations for each child using the app, though a subscription is required to access most of the Epic! content.

The Epic! app for Educators offers everything the Home app does, with some additional features, like setting up personalized profiles and recommendations for students. More importantly, educators can access Epic!'s entire library for free.
