Dr. Panda Town is a fully interactive app, in which children can explore, create, and discover new things as they make their way around the town. Dr. Panda Town is only available for iOS devices, and can be downloaded and played for free with in-app purchases. This app is rated for children four years and older.
Each of four places in town -- a house, restaurant, supermarket and park -- allow children to virtually explore cause and effect relationships among everyday items.
Once players have downloaded and opened the Dr. Panda Town app, they press the play button and the fun begins. The town opens, and players have a street view of available locations to explore. Those not unlocked will still show in the street view.
If a player selects the house, they have six different areas in which to explore, create and interact, a living room, kitchen bathroom, bedroom, terrace and attic.
Players proceed through the house and turn the lights on and off, open the curtains, move or place decorative items, drink hot tea, wash dishes, take a shower, open cupboards and the refrigerator and remove items, as well as to combine refrigerator items on the stove to create and “cook” meals.
Additional characters can be added to each scene by tapping the bottom of the screen and selecting the character or characters desired.

Parents should know that Dr. Panda Town is a completely interactive app, available for free download in the App Store.
Parents should know, however, that only one area in the town, the house, is unlocked for children to fully explore. Additional areas in Dr. Panda Town -- such as a restaurant, supermarket and park, require additional in-app purchases to unlock and explore, a feature that will prove frustrating for many children.
In-app purchases in Dr. Panda Town range from $1.99 to $3.99.
Rated for players four years of age and older, Dr. Panda Town developers say that the app is ideal for children ages six through 8 years old.
