When users first download and open the ToonCamera app, they are prompted to allow the app to access the camera on their phone.
While the ToonCamera interface is simple, it allows users to create amazing and fun pieces of art from the camera on their phone. Intuitive to use with a menu bar featuring five options, ToonCamera also offers a tutorial by tapping the information icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
ToonCamera doesn’t beat around the bush, the app opens directly to a photo screen allowing users to launch right into using the app to capture and create from their surroundings.
While the screen shows what the phone’s camera is focused on, the menu at the bottom of the screen allows users to fine-tune their masterpiece. The paintbrush icon allows users to change the cartoon and art style when taking a photograph, while the squiggly lines to the right allow users the option of changing the line style from light to heavy strokes.
Users have the option to toggle between the phone’s camera, video, or photo gallery to apply ToonCamera effects to their images. ToonCamera allows users to take photos directly in the app, with both the forward-facing camera as well as the selfie positioned camera.
Once users have added the desired effects to their photo, they will then decide whether to save or export the photo in normal or high resolution.

A nice feature of the ToonCamera app is that it offers the option to turn on the iPhone’s LED light to better illuminate the subject of a photo.
Is ToonCamera safe for my kids?
Users may also send their image directly to the printer, or choose the Ship option to order prints and other gift items through a third party.
With the Ship option, ToonCamera users can choose from having posters, phone cases, canvas prints, greeting cards, iPad covers, framed prints, individual photo prints, magnets, and photo book printed at an additional cost.
While convenient, users may find that well-known gift printing companies offer the same print quality at more competitive prices.

Not only does ToonCamera allow users to transform photos and videos into vivid cartoon-like scenes, but the app can take a simple panoramic photo and turn it into a work of art, replete with brush strokes and shading.
