What is Password Manager '?

Paired with iPassword, users need only use their Password Manager secure logins to log into any of their favorite apps or sites, as login information is securely stored locally on the device.

Password Manager users must be 17 years or older to download and use, and offers the option to upgrade to a Pro version via in-app purchase of $4.99.

Password Manager Secure uses encryption of AES 256-bit to safeguard usernames, passwords, payment information, account information and autofill data directly on a user’s mobile device. Individual folders, apps and data files can be secured with the Password Manager, alleviating the need for users to remember login credentials for each, as they’re saved in the app and accessed via their alpha or numeric password.

Password Manager also includes a password generator, to help create ironclad passwords for individual sites.

Password and login information is stored with the use of templates, in which users can use the preformatted forms the Password Manager app provides, or create custom template of their own. Auto-formatted templates include popular apps, such as Facebook, Groupon, Google, Yahoo, Hotmail, Amazon, Ebay, PayPal and more.

The Password Manager offers two backup options for users - Wi-Fi network or web server and iTunes. Users may choose to backup their secured data by downloading the file to their wireless network; users must be connected to their wireless network to perform a backup. To backup their files to iTunes, users will need to use a USB cord to connect their iPhone or iPod to their computer, and then proceed through the backup process.

Is Password Manager ' safe for my kids?

Parents should know that Password Manager Secure App is a localized password manager that secures files, logins and auto-fill data, via password, directly on their mobile device. Users must be 17 years of age to download and this app is not recommended for kids.

A common user complaint is that the app continually asks users, via pop-up, to rate the product, whether or not a user has paid to upgrade to the Pro version. Users also complain that they were unaware of limited storage capacity with the free Password Manager Secure option, only finding out when their input was capped at 6 entries.

This app does offer additional storage in exchange for rating the Password Manager Secure app, as an alternative to purchasing the upgraded Pro version, but does not state how much additional storage a user will receive.
