What is Laugh & Learn™ Puppy’s Player?

Puppy’s Player is a tie-in app for Fisher Price’s Laugh and Learn series of educational toys for babies and toddlers. Laugh and Learn Puppy’s Player is free to download and play, and is geared towards toddler-aged children. It is available for both iOS and Android devices.

Teaching basic concepts, Puppy’s Player features a combination of short videos, books, and games for toddlers to explore.

Laugh and Learn Puppy’s Player uses multiple forms, interactive scenes, animated songs and books, to teach basic concepts. Early learners can use the app to explore opposites, animals and their sounds, shapes, colors, numbers, ABCs, or simply learn fun new songs.

Many of the songs complement the learning activities, such as rhymes naming body parts, colors and numbers.

Users need not have a WiFi or internet connection to play the Laugh and Learn Puppy’s Player app, as the content is downloaded along with the app.

Is Laugh & Learn™ Puppy’s Player safe for my kids?

Parents should know that the Laugh and Learn Puppy’s Player app is a digital addition to Fisher Price’s line of educational toys, most notably the Laugh and Learn Smart Stages Puppy.

In this safe for kids app, your little ones will recognize their favorite characters, in animated form as they tap through educational videos, books, and games on the app.

The sheer number of options can be too much for little ones, added with the ability for them to swipe in and out of menus and options, we suggest creating a custom playlist can help limit the constant scrolling and selecting.

Parents have the ability to program or create playlists for their toddlers, selecting those videos and games they wish their little one to play.

However, a common user complaint is that the content within the app tends to lag, freeze, or serve a blank screen, which can be frustrating to both little ones and parents.

Another common user complaint is the inability for parents to lock the screen, making it easy for small children to tap or swipe out of the app.
