What is Family Guy- Another Freakin' Mobile Game?

Family Guy: Another Freakin’ Mobile Game is a themed match-three game for adults. Free to download and play, Family Guy: Another Freakin’ Mobile Game is rated for users 17 years of age and older, and features advertisements and in-app purchases.

Per the developer:

Follow Peter, Lois, Stewie, Brian, Chris, Quagmire, Cleveland… and Meg on a debaucherous journey through Quahog. Put on your big kid pants because this isn’t your typical candy-coated match game. Time to crush on a whole new level. Filled with absurd hilarity and fun challenges, Family Guy: Another Freakin' Mobile Game is a must-have for fans of animated shows.

Based upon the adult cartoon, Family Guy: Another Freakin’ Mobile Game is definitely an app for adults, with match-three games centering around alcohol and condoms.  Fans of the show will already be familiar with the storylines and the same gross-out humor, which are presented as cutscenes between match-three rounds

When players first download the Family Guy: Another Freakin’ Mobile Game app and open, they’re greeted with a screen that instructs them in gameplay: “Thirsty drunks need booze badly! Make matches to fill orders!”

In Fill drinks for Peter, players are challenged to make matches to clear the number of drinks in three Family Guy characters’ hands and each character’s drink has a number assigned for players to meet in order to win the round. Like other match-three games, small icons are used as different playing pieces, here those game pieces are different drink vessels. The Family Guy characters are positioned at the top of players’ screens, and as each drink quota is met for the characters, they dramatically fall off of their barstools drunk -- not an especially positive example for kids.

Coins are the in-game currency for Family Guy: Another Freakin’ Mobile Game, and can be both earned and purchased; coin packages range in price from $.99 to $99.99. Coins can be used for players to purchase additional lives (or turns). Players may also earn additional lives by watching advertiser videos, but even that option, will eventually run out, forcing players to purchase coin packages to continue gameplay.

Common user complaints include intermittent app crashing or issues with loading, with black screens common. Users also report glitches, slow load times, game lags and crashes and glitches after purchasing items to extend their gameplay, basically forfeiting the extra moves they’ve purchased.

Is Family Guy- Another Freakin' Mobile Game safe for my kids?

With four game modes, including fill drinks for Peter, collect condoms for Quagmire, and uncover makeup for Meg, parents understand why Family Guy: Another Freakin’ Mobile Game is not for kids.
