What is Password Manager Data Vault?

Password Manager Data Vault is an app that allows users to store their most personal information in a password-protected and encrypted form.

Available for both iOS and Android device users, Password Manager Data Vault is available to download for $9.99, is rated for users of all ages and features no additional in-app purchases or advertisements.

In an age when so much of daily life is conducted online and personal information is frequently submitted through the web, an app like Password Manager Data Vault is helpful to keep all of one’s login information, bank account and credit card information in one place and secured.

Once opened, users are given the option to consult the Quick Start guide or bypass to begin. The first thing users will do in Password Manager Data Vault is set-up a master password, the strength of which is shown as users start to input their code.

Users are also given the option to use fingerprint authentication, and iOS users can opt for TouchID or FaceID.

Organized as a series of folders, Password Manager Data Vault provides sample information to get users started, that can easily be adjusted to suit one’s needs or deleted.

For example, the main folder called Business is pre-set with subfolders for Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Inventory, Logins, and Memberships. Users can easily navigate to each of these subfolders to input information for each item in that category, such as multiple credit cards.

Once in a folder, such as a credit card folder, users will see a labels, such as a card Name, Number, PIN, Expiration Date, for users to input information.

At the very bottom is a text box where users can input notes about accounts. iOS users have the option to back up their data to iCloud (recommended) for easy access.

Password Manager Data Vault uses encryption AES 256-bit to safeguard usernames, passwords, payment information and account information and other data directly on a user’s mobile device. Users also have the option to select automatic cloud backups in addition to syncing across multiple devices.

Individual folders, apps and data files can be secured with the Password Manager Data Vault alleviating the need for users to remember login credentials for each.  Each login credential is saved in the app and accessed via their alpha or numeric password, fingerprint authentication or facial recognition.
