The iMDb app is safe for teens. There are not features in this app that are problematic teens but they might stumble upon movies and information that may be to mature for them. That being said, this is not a streaming app so the most that users can find out is from reading reviews or watching previews.

Parents should know that this app did feature a chat and message board feature that was removed in 2017. Outside of reviews and leaving comments, users will not be able to interact with each other so this is not a feature that parents need to worry much about.

While reviewed pretty well in both app stores, common user complaints center around recent update that have made the app glitchy and slow. Some users also complain about the amount of advertisements featured throughout the app.
