What is BitLife - Life Simulator?

BitLife – Life Simulator is a text simulation gaming app that allows users to make choices that will impact how the life of the character you are playing turns out.

This app is only available for iOS devices and can be downloaded from the App Store for free. The BitLife app features both in-app purchases and advertisements. It is rated for users 17 years of age and older.

Much like the Sims game, BitLife is a choices game in which players are in control of how the lives of their character turn out. Will they make good choices and become a model citizen or will they slip up and ruin their lives forever.

When users first open this app they will see only one button, to start a new life. You are given a character and the game begins. Players should know that there is no tutorial and the game isn’t very self-explanatory.

Mostly, users will have to tap the age button and as they age prompts will pop up asking you to make decisions about your character. In-app purchases are for $1.99 and can remove advertisements in the game or earn your bitizenship. Reviews of this app are very positive but some player wish that there were more options and choices.

Is BitLife - Life Simulator safe for my kids?

This app is not safe for kids. First, this app is rated for users 17 years and older, this is because the app features many themes that are too mature for younger users. BitLife features profanity, violence, sexual content, drug and alcohol use, and gambling- easily making this game unsuitable for kids.

Some of the reviewer mention that after playing one round of this game, the choices they made caused their character to choose to commit suicide.

If a parent does allow their child to play this game there are no messaging features or ways for players to communicate or interact with others as this game is for solo play.
