What is Baby Connect (activity log)?

Baby Connect is a tracking app aimed towards connecting childcare providers with parents and providing an easily accessible, centralized tracking and record system. With Baby Connect, caregivers can all be on the same page, and parents can track their baby’s schedule when away.

Baby Connect is rated for users of all ages and is available to purchase for $4.99 in both the App Store and the Google Play Store.

Baby Connect is an app that provides a centralized location for everything baby. Keep track of feedings, diaper changes, naps and bedtime, as well as having all of a baby’s pertinent records (immunizations) and essential contacts (pediatrician) in one location.

The Baby Connect activity log offers a wide range of topics and areas for parents and caregivers to input daily details and activities.

Per the developer, the Baby Connect app allows users to:

The bonus of the Baby Connect app is that it allows both parents and childcare providers to easily connect, in real time, replacing the daily paper sheet for schedules and communication.

Subscriptions are available for licensed childcare providers. While the Baby Connect app is available for both iOS and Android devices, it also includes a web interface, so that updates and check-ins can be done without the use of a mobile device.

This is especially helpful for family or in-home caregivers who do not have a professional Baby Connect subscription.

The Baby Connect app allows both parents and childcare providers to quickly enter and look at daily events, such as feedings, naps, diaper changes and milestones so that both parties are informed of a baby’s daily schedule.

Baby Connect also includes entries for a baby’s mood, temperature, play activities, and allows childcare providers to attach/upload photos of children, to keep parents updated throughout their child’s day.

Baby Connect synchronizes information input by both parents and childcare providers. All of a child’s schedule information is accessible by both parties, in real time.

With the Baby Connect app, parents can input medication dosing schedules and check to see if the caregiver has dosed their baby throughout the day, allowing them to streamline infant care once a baby is picked up from the caregiver.

There is no data limit with the Baby Connect app, so users can enter in as many children, caregivers and parents as they need.

The Baby Connect app also stores pertinent personal information, including doctor visits, medications, vaccines, sickness, height, weight and head size can also be stored in the app, which provides the percentile for each of the measurements.

An alarm function allows Baby Connect users to set reminders throughout the day, for anything from medications to diaper checks. A timer function allows both parents and caregivers to track naps, activities, feeding sessions and moods or behaviors.
